The Plan
You planned 8 deliverables. You shipped 3. The other 5 were "basically done" — which is not done.
SYSTEM_ERROR_002
The Hours
Tracked obsessively. Correlated with nothing that actually shipped. Hours are not output.
SYSTEM_ERROR_003
"Enough"
The standard you keep lowering as 5pm approaches. DayOS makes this impossible.

THE_PROTOCOL // HOW IT WORKS
01
COMMIT
Set your contract for the day
Each morning, declare what must ship. Rank tasks as MUST, GOOD, or NICE. That list is your commitment — written by you, enforced by the system.
02
EXECUTE
Work in focused sessions
Run sessions and log every output as it ships. When you think you're done, trigger the AI checkpoint. It compares what you planned to what actually shipped.
03
SCORE
Face the honest verdict
Every day closes with a score. Not hours. Not effort. Whether your committed deliverables shipped. The score doesn't negotiate.
THE_VERDICT // DAILY SCORE

Every day closes with a score. Not based on effort. Not on hours logged.
On whether your committed deliverables actually shipped.

SURVIVED
You showed up. Something slipped. Try harder tomorrow.
WIN
All musts done. You cleared the bar you set this morning.
GREAT
Musts done — and you went further. Rare but repeatable.
PERFECT
Every committed task shipped. Plus you went beyond. Very rare.
USER_LOGS // WHAT PEOPLE SAY
"I used to end every day feeling vaguely productive. DayOS ended that. Now I know exactly whether I shipped or didn't. The score stings sometimes. That's the point."
Alex M.
Indie developer, 3 months in
"The AI end-of-day review is the thing. It reads your task list, looks at what you actually logged, and tells you the truth. It called me out twice in the first week. I needed it."
Sara K.
Freelance product designer
"The scoring system is brutal in the best way. You can't soft-pedal a SURVIVED day. It's right there in the data. My Great+ rate went from 40% to 70% in six weeks."

Is this just another to-do list?
No. A to-do list doesn't score you. DayOS closes the loop — every day ends with a verdict on what you committed to and what shipped. That accountability is the product.
What does the AI actually say?
It reads your task list, your session logs, and your output notes, then gives you a verdict: done or not. It's direct. It won't tell you almost counts.
What if I have a genuinely bad day?
You get a SURVIVED score. That's honest and it's fine. The data is yours. The streak resets. The next day is a clean slate — and now you have a baseline to beat.
What if my work isn't task-based?
DayOS works for any deliverable you can name. If you can write it down, you can commit to it. Designs, drafts, calls closed — anything with a done state works.
What if I miss a day?
Nothing breaks. Unfinished tasks carry over. The streak resets. There's no punishment — just data. You can see exactly where you drifted.
Is there a mobile version?
DayOS is desktop-first. The web app works on mobile but is built for the planning and review ritual at a proper desk, not a commute.
